Santa Fe Warbirds

Miscellaneous pix I took at the last minute before we left...

Whoa! What's all this then? Have the Reds landed in Santa Fe?

Welcome to the Jet Warbird Training Center. This is one of the places you can go if didn't make it into the Air Force or Navy to learn how to be a jet fighter pilot. They accept private pilots with a minimum of 1000 hours of training and they'll teach you how to fly these Bad Boys. These guys were just written up in Pilot's Journal if you want to read more. Time in these planes sells for $1000-$1700 per hour depending on the aircraft.

Someday, I'll be back to take those rides!
